Waters of Orquevaux

Waters of Orquevaux emerged from sustained observation during a residency in eastern France. Attending to the constant movement of water, the work distills perception into quiet, repetitive studies of light, reflection, and flow.

Rendered as minimalist ink paintings, the series reduces the image to essential contrasts of light and shadow, allowing subtle variations and rhythms to surface through restraint rather than description.

These are four panels on watercolor paper. Size: Approx 15h x 40w (38 x 41 cm)
