Sea Spirits - MONOTYPE prints
All the handmade prints you see were created in my art studio in Maryland. The Sea Spirits monotypes were influenced by Japanese prints and time spent near quiet lakes in New England.
The term “print” here refers to printmaking; that is, using a press or darkroom or hand methods to create original prints. It does not refer to reproductions or “giclees” which is a commonly used but confusing term. If you have questions about techniques, feel free to send them my way!
