What Lies Beneath
What Lies Beneath centers on a single woven form, its blue surface patterned like an antique textile remembered more than seen. Below, a pale mesh extends past the form's edge, holding what the fabric cannot: a yellow thread that loops and wanders, surfacing through the weave. The piece suggests that what is covered is never quite contained, and that older fabrics carry their own quiet histories beneath the present surface.

2020 Diaries, #1
Mixed media on mylar, 47 x 36 inches.
I believe screenprinting holds a great deal of unexplored aesthetic potential, especially when combined with other media. "2020 Diaries" juxtaposes the more mechanical screenprinting technique, where the artist's hand is not evident, with soft spontaneous areas of mark-making and watercolor brushwork.

Earth Dream 3
This mixed-media screenprint is part of a series exploring planet earth as a sentient being. Set on a long horizontal format, the piece unfolds with overlapping, abstract imagery that evokes floating natural forms. The flowing and layered compositions create a sense of animation and movement, despite the two-dimensional surface. The work invites viewers to engage with the rhythms and vitality of the natural world in a dreamlike, meditative way.
